A man has been charged nearly two months after a woman was allegedly robbed at knifepoint in her Glasgow flat.

Three men are said to have entered the woman's home in Dumbarton Road at around 5.25pm on Sunday May 3 and threatened her with a weapon.

Police Scotland said a five-figure sum of money was taken in the incident, during which two of the men are said to have been wearing medical-type masks.

The 48-year-old woman was not injured in the incident.

On Wednesday, police said a 21-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery.

He is due to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.

Police inquiries are continuing and a full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
