Man charged in connection with Paisley death

A man's been charged in connection with a death in Paisley.

The 39-year-old man died in hospital a short time after being found by officers in the Greenock Road area in the early hours of yesterday.
The 40-year-old man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court.
Police Scotland said: "A 40-year-old man arrested in connection with the death of a 39-year-old man in Paisley has now been charged.
"Around 2.35am on Thursday, 3 July, officers were called to the Greenock Road area.
"Emergency services attended and the 39-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he died a short time later.
"The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, 4 July, 2025."
