Man charged with murder after shooting in Blantyre

A man has been charged with murder after a shooting in a South Lanarkshire town.
Graham Williamson, 26, was in a back garden in Caithness Street, Blantyre, when he was shot on August 17.
He managed to make his way on to the street, where he was helped by members of the public until an ambulance arrived.
He was taken to University Hospital Wishaw but died a short time later.
On Wednesday, Derek Felvus, 23, of Hamilton, was charged with his murder at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
He was also charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Felvus made no plea and was remanded in custody.
