Man charged in connection with Airdrie "cannabis farm"

A 31 year-old man has been arrested and charged after cannabis plants worth hundreds of thousands of pounds were found in Airdrie.

Around 11.25am on Wednesday 11th April 2018, police officers acting on a tip-off raided an address in Woodside Drive – finding cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of £200,000.

The man was due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Thursday 12th April. A full report has been forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
