Man charged in connection with Craig Shaw's murder in Drumchapel

A 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of Craig Shaw in Drumchapel, Glasgow.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 19 May.

Emergency services were called to a flat on Jedworth Road, Glasgow, around 5.35pm on Thursday, 22 April, following a concern call.

45-year-old Craig Shaw was pronounced dead at the scene and a murder inquiry was subsequently launched.

Detective Chief Inspector Cameron Miller, from the Major Investigation Team, said: "We continue to support Craig's family and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

"Our investigation into Craig's murder continues and I would encourage anyone who has information and has not yet spoken to police, to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 2750 of 22 April."

Detectives have also set up an online portal to encourage members of the public to submit information here.
