Man charged in connection with death in Airdrie
The 21-year-old is expected to appear at Court on Christmas Eve.
A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of Jamie Lucas in Airdrie.
Officers were called to Stirling Street in the town around 2.45am on Sunday, 22 December, 2024.
Jamie was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Christmas Eve court date
The 21-year-old is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 24 December.
Detective Chief Inspector Jamie Campbell said: "My thoughts remain with Jamie's family and friends. We continue to offer them support at this very difficult time.
“I’d like to thank members of the local community for their support during our investigations. Anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police is asked to come forward.
