Man charged after attempted murder in Glasgow
A 51-year old woman was found seriously injured at a flat in Southbrae Gardens on Wednesday night
A 20-year-old man is to appear in court after a woman was found seriously injured in a flat. Police were called to Southbrae Gardens in the Jordanhill area of Glasgow on Wednesday evening after the 51-year-old woman was discovered.
She is being treated at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where her condition is described as serious.
Officers are treating the incident as attempted murder.
A Police Scotland statement said: A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged attempted murder of a 51-year-old woman within a flat in Southbrae Gardens, Jordanhill, Glasgow, on Wednesday.
It is anticipated that he will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday August 24.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.''
