The body of a man has been recovered from the River Clyde in the early hours of this morning.
Police raced to the scene at 5:40 a.m. today, Thursday, March 27, after being called out late last night.
Officers attended a call following a report of a concern for someone in the Clyde Street area of Glasgow around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26.
The death is being treated as unexplained, though not suspicious, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.30pm on Wednesday, March 26, we received a report of a concern for a person in the Clyde Street area of Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and an extensive search was carried out.
“Around 5.40am on Thursday, March 27, the body of a man was recovered from the River Clyde near to Broomielaw.
“The death is being treated as unexplained, but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
