Man's Body Found In Water At Ardrossan Harbour

The body of a man has been found in the water at Ardrossan harbour.
A local made the discovery while walking his dog at 12:20 this afternoon. About an hour later, the local Coastguard recovered the body from the water and a man was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem has still to be carried out to determine the cause of death and a formal identification has still to be made. Police are treating the death as unexplained.
