Body of man found at recycling centre in Glasgow

The body of a man has been found at a recycling centre in Glasgow.

Police were called to Easter Queenslie Road at around 20 to 9 this morning.

Emergency crews remain on the scene and enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40am on Wednesday, 10 April, 2024 we were made aware that the body of a man had been discovered at a recycling centre on Easter Queenslie Road, Glasgow.

A Glasgow City Council spokesperson said: Queenslie Recycling Centre is currently closed to all vehicles and residents due to an ongoing police incident.
