Police are hunting a man who attacked two men in their 50s with a large knife in a "brutal and ruthless" assault as they stood in the doorway of a takeaway.
One of the victims suffered a serious shoulder injury in the assault in the Baillieston area of Glasgow in the early hours of Tuesday.
The victims were standing in the doorway of The Spice Boys Takeaway on Swinton Road when they noticed another man standing nearby.
He shouted at them before running towards the pair and attacking them with a large knife.
The victims went inside the takeaway while the suspect got into a white car, possibly a Seat Leon, before fleeing east along Rhindmuir Road.
A 50-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a shoulder injury and has since been released.
The other victim, 51, was treated by paramedics at the scene.
