A man has been attacked in broad daylight outside a supermarket in Johnstone.

At around quarter to 10 this morning emergency services were called to Lidl on the town's High Street to reports a man had been assaulted.
A 22 year-old was taken to hospital with knife wounds to his shoulder and neck - the injuries aren't thought to be life threatening.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: At around 9.45am, police were called to a report of a 22-year-old man having been assaulted on the High Street, Johnstone.
"Police and emergency services attended and the man has been taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to injuries to his shoulder and neck.
"Enquiries are continuing. Medical staff describe his condition as stable and the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
