Man hospitalised after 'broad daylight attack' in Knightswood

Police are appealing for information about the incident

Detectives in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses after a 32-year-old man was seriously assaulted.

The incident happened on Dyke Road, in the Knightswood area of Glasgow, around 4.30pm on Sunday, 18 June, 2023.

The man was assaulted by a group of four or five men and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Jennifer Boyle said: “This incident happened in broad daylight so it is likely that members of the public may have witnessed this.

“I am asking for anyone with information, anyone who may have witnessed anything or who may have dash cam footage which could assist, to please come forward.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 2814 of 18 June, 2023. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
