Man arrested in Kent over alleged attempted murder in Glasgow

The 44-year-old is expected to appear in court on Monday

Detectives investigating the attempted murder of a 37 year-old man in Glasgow have arrested a man in Kent.

Steven Daniel was targeted while driving along Craighall Road in the Port Dundas area just after midnight on May 18 last year, he was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries.

Police said a 44-year-old man has been arrested and detained in custody in connection with the incident, following an intelligence-led operation in the Kent area.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, and the suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday
