Man arrested after reports of 'firearm' in Glasgow
A 28-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday
A man has been arrested for allegedly being in possession of a firearm in the Dennistoun area of Glasgow on Saturday night.
Police were called to Alexandra Parade at around 8:35pm.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police have arrested a 28-year-old man after officers were called to the Alexandra Parade area at about 8.35pm last night following a report of a man with a firearm.
“No-one was injured as a result of the incident.
“He is due before Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.”
