Man Arrested In Connection With Falkirk Hit And Run
A 25 year old man is due in court in connection with the incident that left two adults trapped in a car and a young girl with minor injuries.
A man has been arrested over a hit-and-run crash that left two adults trapped in a car and a young girl with minor injuries.
A grey VW Golf GTI and a Volvo V50 were involved in the collision at Gartcows Road, Falkirk, at about 10pm on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old man driving the Volvo and a 25-year-old woman in the passenger seat were trapped and had to be freed by firefighters.
They were taken by ambulance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert. The woman suffered serious injuries and remains in a stable condition while the man was treated for minor injuries.
A young girl in the back seat also remains in hospital in a stable condition after suffering minor injuries.
Police launched an investigation and a 25-year-old man has now been arrested and charged over the incident.
He is due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday.
