Man arrested in connection with attempted murder in Dalmuir

The 25-year-old is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court

A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Dalmuir.

On Thursday 29 October a 22-year-old man was found in the middle of Dumbarton Road with a serious chest injury.

Detective Chief Inspector Ogilvie Ross said: "We would like to thank the local community for helping us with our investigation and providing information."

The 25-year-old was due appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
