Police are thanking the public for assisting
A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged after an 82-year-old woman was robbed in Lanarkshire.
The shocking incident happened in the middle of the day in Newarthill on November 1.

Detective Constable Alison Geal, from Wishaw CID, said: “This was a despicable and opportunistic robbery which left an elderly woman distressed and badly shaken.
