Man arrested after body of woman found in East Kilbride flat

A man has been arrested after the body of a woman was found at a flat in East Kilbride.
The discovery was made on Park Terrace in West Mains on Thursday.
Enquiries into the 33 year old's death are ongoing and a port mortem will now be carried out.
A Police Scotland spokesperson says:
“A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 33-year-old woman within a property on Park Terrace in East Kilbride on Thursday, 30 April, 2020.
Enquiries into the circumstance surrounding the death are ongoing. A post-mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the cause of death.”
