Man arrested after Airdrie death

A 60 year old man has been charged in connection with the death of a woman in the Craigneuk/Petersburn area of Airdrie.

Officers called to a house on Torrance Avenue at 10.45 on Sunday morning found the body of a 54 year old woman inside.

The man in expected in court today.
