Man arrested after £600k worth of cannabis plants found in Glasgow house

A man has been arrested after an estimated #600,000 worth of cannabis was recovered in the east end of Glasgow.

It followed a police operation on November 17 in Fielden Street, Parkhead.

Officers searched a building and seized a large quantity of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £600,000.

Police said a 45-year-old man had been arrested and detained in custody in connection with the recovery.

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

Detective Inspector Fergus Hutcheson said: `This recovery clearly demonstrates our determination to crack down on drugs in our local communities throughout Glasgow.'
