A man has appeared in court charged with murdering another man in Easthouse on Monday. Patrick Phinn, 48, is accused of killing 38-year old Ronald Pattison.

Emergency services were called to a house in Durno Path on September 17th, where they found Mr Pattison and another man seriously injured.

Mr Pattison died shortly after and the other man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Phinn, from Ellon, appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he made no plea.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at a full committal hearing next week.
