A man has appeared in court accused of attempted murder after a house fire.
The incident took place in Union Street, Greenock, Inverclyde, on Monday September 14.
Craig MacFarlane, 25, from Paisley, Renfrewshire, appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court on Friday charged with attempted murder and wilful fireraising.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is expected to appear in court in the next eight days.
