Man appears in court after 'woman robbed at knifepoint' in Glasgow flat

Three men are said to have entered the woman's home in Dumbarton Road, Glasgow, at about 5.25pm on Sunday May 3 and threatened her with a weapon.

A man has appeared in court nearly two months after a woman was allegedly robbed at knifepoint in her flat.

Three men are said to have entered the woman's home in Dumbarton Road, Glasgow, at about 5.25pm on Sunday May 3 and threatened her with a weapon.

Police Scotland said a five-figure sum of money was taken in the incident, during which two of the men are said to have been wearing medical-type masks.

The 48-year-old woman was not injured in the incident.

Kosrat Jamal appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday charged with robbery.

The 21-year-old, of Glasgow, made no plea and was released on bail.

The date of his next court appearance is still to be confirmed.
