Man appears in court charged with Clydebank rape
21-year-old Joseph Boylan made no plea at Dumbarton Sheriff Court
A man has appeared in court charged with raping a woman in a lane in Clydebank.
Joseph Boylan is accused of attacking the 23-year-old near a café just off Alexander Street in the town in the early hours of Saturday morning.
21-year-old Boylan, from Glasgow, made no plea at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday and was released on bail.
The case was committed for further examination.
