Man airlifted to hospital after boat capsizes in River Clyde
A man is in hospital after his boat capsized in the River Clyde between Port Glasgow and Cardross.
The coastguard teams from Greenock and Helensburgh, and the Helensburgh RNLI were called out just before 3:30pm yesterday.
Two men had been in the water for a "considerable time".
They were both rescued, and one was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The Greenock Coastguard Rescue Team said: "Both casualties were thankfully wearing flotation aids, which kept them afloat whilst being in the water for approximately 60 minutes".
