A man has admitted subjecting his ex-partner to a campaign of abuse in Glasgow.

Jordan Bowrman, 23, attacked Kirsten Knotts, 23, on various occasions between November 2019 and April 2020.

In one incident Bowrman sent pictures of his victim’s injured face after viciously assaulting her.

He left the mum-of-two with cuts, bumps and bruises following claims she was seeing a 16-year-old boy.

The attacker later sent him a picture message of an injured Miss Knotts which said: “Ha ha she enjoyed getting her c*** punched in.”

In a later incident, Bowrman pursued Miss Knotts in his car before ramming her vehicle twice while a child was inside.

Bowrman pleaded guilty on Wednesday at Glasgow Sheriff Court to engaging in a course of conduct which was the abuse of a partner or ex-partner.

He also admitted dangerous driving as well as breaching a non-harassment order and bail conditions.

The court heard the pair were together for four years and split in September 2019.

Bowrman showed up to Miss Knott’s home in Glasgow’s Baillieston in November and made various accusations.

Prosecutor Mark Allan told the court an enraged Bowrman punched and kicked Miss Knott’s face and body.

Bowrman then made the claim that Miss Knotts was seeing the teenager and took a picture of her.

He attacked her in a similar manner again and she was left with cuts and bumps on her face.

Bowrman contacted the teenager meantime saying: “I will see you soon mate, you’re getting it, I’m going to smash your c* in you wee p**.”

Mr Allan said: “He then received a photo of Miss Knotts who appeared bruised to her right eye.

“That together with a message said ‘Ha ha she enjoyed getting her c*** punched in mad slag’.”

In February this year, Bowrman breached an order not to contact Miss Knotts by turning up at her home. He punched her on the face bursting her lip and she fled the scene in her car.

Miss Knotts, who had a child in the car, was later tracked by Bowrman who reversed his car into her car on Glasgow Road, Baillieston.

He followed Miss Knott to nearby Garrowhill before ramming her car again.

Bowrman went on to assault Miss Knotts for the last time in April leaving her bruised after being punched.

Bowrman later told Miss Knotts mother that her daughter was a “slag” and was going to get raped by a friend of two people they knew.

Sheriff Ian Fleming deferred sentence until next month for background reports.
