M77: Work to begin for two weeks
Sections of the road will be closed while essential maintenance is carried out

Motorists are being warned to expect disruption to their journey with overnight work to begin on the M77 motorway.
Amey is carrying out essential maintenance work on junction 3 from Monday, March 14 until March 28, which will improve the condition of the road and reduce the need for more large-scale work in the future.
This scheme, with a value of £440,148, will benefit around 29,395 vehicles using this route each day.
Phase 1 - March 14 - March 21
Work will be carried out using a full road closure of the M77 southbound between the Junction 3 off-slip road and Junction 5 on-slip road, which includes a closure of the M77 southbound Junction 3 on-slip.
Closures will be in place between the hours of 9pm and 6am, each night.
There will be an overnight lane closure of Nitshill Road at the start of the slip road. Nitshill Road will remain open during the day.
Saturday 19th March – Sunday 20th March: M77 daytime lane closure will be in place The M77 southbound Junction 3 on-slip will also remain closed during this period.
Phase 2 - March 25 - March 28
Friday 25th March – Sunday 27th March (inclusive): Work will be carried out using a full road closure of the M77 southbound between the Junction 3 off-slip road and the Junction 5 on-slip road.
This will include the closure of the M77 Southbound Junction 3 on-slip road. Work will take place between the hours of 9pm and 6am each night.
Saturday 26th March – Sunday 27th March: M77**** daytime lane closure will be in place. The M77 southbound Junction 3 on-slip will also remain closed during this period.
There may be a provisional requirement for additional overnight closures on the evening of Monday 28th  and Tuesday 29th March, an update will be provided as works progress.
