Lorry driver killed in M74 crash named

Police have named a lorry driver who died in a crash on the M74 on Thursday as Malcolm Easton from Alexandria.

The 42 year old's truck overturned after a collision with a BMW as they were heading north near Lesmahagow and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 36-year-old man driving the BMW was not injured.

Police Scotland has launched an investigation to establish the circumstances of the collision.
