It has been nearly 3 weeks since Alan Galbraith from Kilmarnock was reported missing.
After spending the evening with his wife at a friend's house, the 58 year-old was last seen around 2am on Sunday 5th February close to the old abattoir on Dundonald Road.
He then failed to return home or to attend his work in Glasgow on Monday morning.
Alan is described as white, around 6ft tall, stocky build and is bald with grey hair at the back and sides. When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue 'Northface' fleece, blue trousers and tan-coloured boots.
Superintendent Linda Jones said: “Extensive enquiries are continuing to find Mr Galbraith and we acknowledge that this is a difficult time for his family. We have been routinely updating his relatives with our progress.
“Once again, I would appeal to the public to share our appeals for information and would also urge anyone with information, no matter how insignificant they think it might be, to contact our dedicated team at Kilmarnock Police Station on 101.”
A Facebook page has been set up to recruit local people in the search for Alan.
Dozens will meet at the Moorfield Industrial Estate at 10am on Saturday 25th of February to again search the area.
