The search for missing Clydebank teen, Scott Diver, continues today.

It's been one week since the 16-year-old was last seen leaving his home, by his dad, on Second Avenue.

Today a team of officers will launch 'stop and speak' facilities near to his home in Second Avenue, around Clydebank Shopping Centre and at Clydebank bus station at Chalmers Street.

Earlier Inspector John Mullen spoke to Radio Clyde News

He added: “We are becoming increasingly worried about Scott as he has not made contact with anyone in almost a week. We’ve been carrying out a significant number of enquiries to trace Scott’s movements and we are utilising a range of specialist services available to us including the air support unit and search teams.

“I hope that by visiting the areas where Scott was last seen or known to frequent, someone will remember seeing him. Please continue to contact the police with any information you have that could help us find Scott.”

Scott is described as white, 5ft 7 inches, with slim build with blue eyes and dark hair. When last seen he was wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit with light blue stripes down the arms and legs, a white t-shirt and navy blue Adidas training shoes with grey stripes.
