Scottish Labour Leader Kezia Dugdale has met campaigners fighting to save their local children's ward in Paisley.

The Scottish Labour leader insists plans to close it are not a ‘done deal’.

The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde health board needs to save £69m in the year ahead and the Paediatric ward at the Royal Alexandra Hospital is set to be one of the services that are sacrificed.

Maternity units at the Vale of Leven and Inverclyde Royal are also due to close under plans out for consultation.

Standing with campaigners at the RAH this morning, Ms Dugdale says she'll fight to find another way.
