LISTEN: Protestors hit George Square in solidarity with Afghanistan
It's as President Joe Biden imposed a 10 day limit on rescue flights
Demonstrators have taken to Glasgow's George Square in an effort to express solidarity with the situation in Afghanistan.
The capital, Kabul, fell under Taliban rule last week - after foreign forces withdrew.
Thousands are now attempting to flee the country, amid fears the militant group will target those who have worked with overseas governments and military forces.
The UK has already committed to bringing 20,000 refugees here over the next four years - with the Scottish Government also giving their support.
But demonstrators say that won't be enough.
Zara Kareshi, whose Mum is from Kabul, said: "Everything that I've known to be free for me - education, right to work, etcetera - the Taliban goes against all of that.
"I know Great Britain is trying but 20,000 people over 4 years is never going to be enough.
"You're never going to be able to get enough people out, there are always going to be people left behind.
"If you spent 20 years in a country and it took the Taliban a weekend to take it back, then I don't think you were doing the right thing.
Politicians also joined the demonstrators - with Health Secretary Humza Yousaf and Labour MSP Paul Sweeney among the group.
The rally saw well over 100 people gather, despite inclement weather conditions.
