An OAP's telling Clyde News about the terrifying moment she was assaulted in a robbery bid in broad daylight in Govanhill.

The 66 year old, who didn't want to be named, was one of around 80 people who gathered in the area last night for a vigil in protest after a spate of attacks on the elderly.

The victim says she suffered bad bruising after a man tried to snatch her handbag.

She spoke to our Chief Reporter Linda Sinclair about her experience.
