LISTEN: Legendary Glasgow Songwriter To Pick Up MBE

Three-time Ivor Novello winner and Govan boy Bill Martin says he is "thrilled" to be collecting his MBE today. The 76 year old grew up just yards from the Fairfield Shipyards and was the first British songwriter to write a European Song Contest winner for the UK with Puppet on a String in 1967. The ceremony will take place at Buckingham Palace on Friday from 10am.
