LISTEN: Kilmarnock's Gary Dicker reveals pressure as a player
The 30 year-old wants football associations to offer more support.
Kilmarnock player Gary Dicker says more support should be offered to younger footballers.
The 30 year-old says the pressure, both on and off the pitch, can be hard to deal with and admits struggling when he was younger in Ireland.
He says being away from home with no family or friends nearby can leave you feeling isolated and alone.
Dicker says learning to deal with comments on social media is important.
"It's like every job. You could have some calling you this and that on Twitter and then the next day asking you for a picture and you wouldn't know it's the same person."
"You do have to learn to deal with it because all it takes is one person to say something and you might bite back."
