Youngsters and staff from the Girls' Brigade across Scotland have been celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Members of the youth organisation have been taking part in 60 challenges in 60 days to mark the special anniversary of the charity.

The DofE award covers four disciplines: skills, physical, volunteering and expedition and these are the areas the participants have pledged to cover in their challenges over October and November.

Hazel McCallum, the Programme and Leadership Co-ordinator's challenge was to be interviewed by Clyde News.

Listen to her talking to our Chief Reporter Linda Sinclair:

22 year old Glasgow University music student Emma McNally has been involved with the Girls' Brigade since primary school age.

She talks to our Chief Reporter Linda Sinclair about it.

We at Clyde News wish all those involved the best of luck in the rest of the challenge.
