The heartbroken daughter of a missing Dumbarton man is renewing her appeal for information that could lead her to her dad, two years on from his disappearance.

Paul Harley was last seen leaving his home in the town’s Whiteford Avenue on the 28th of September 2014, but has been seen since.

Jennifer Harley is telling Clyde News "she is not very hopeful" of finding him alive, but wants the chance to lay her father to rest:

The grandfather, who was 53 when he went missing, was suffering from depression at the time of his disappearance.

Paul worked as a welder for Network Rail and moved to Dumbarton from Coatbridge to live with his partner.

Jennifer has set up a Facebook page, called "Find Paul Harley" and is urging anyone with information to share it.

Paul is described as white, around 5ft 5in tall and of slim build. He has black receding hair and a tattoo of “Kyla” on his right arm.

Detective Inspector Andrew Doherty from Dumbarton Police Office said:

“Paul has been missing for two years now, and despite the extensive efforts of officers to trace him, we are yet to obtain any information on his whereabouts.

“Paul’s family and friends have had to spend the last two years not knowing where their loved one is and it is very important for them to get answers.

“I would appeal to anyone with information on Paul’s whereabouts to contact officers at Dumbarton Police Office through 101.”
