Concern’s growing for a Glasgow man who’s been missing for exactly one week.

Archivist Alexander Singerman, who lives in Shawlands, failed to turn up for a meeting in Ayr after he left work in the town last Wednesday and there’s been no contact from the 32-year-old by phone or social media since.

His parents have issued an emotional appeal urging him to get in touch.

His dad Howard had this message:

Mr Singerman’s car was found near his work and he was last seen walking towards St Quivox, near to the Agricultural College on the B743.
