Concern is growing for Clydebank teenager who's been missing since the weekend.

Scott Diver was last seen leaving his home in the town's Second Avenue on Saturday afternoon.

The 16-year-old's described as white, 5ft 7 inches, with slim build with blue eyes and dark hair.

Inspector John Mullen's been speaking to our reporter Shiona McCallum:

He was last seen wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit with light blue stripes down the arms and legs, a white t-shirt and navy blue Adidas training shoes with grey stripes.

Chief Inspector Donald Leitch at Clydebank Police Office said: “Despite our previous appeal and the encouraging response that we’ve received from the public on social media, Scott remains missing.

“As time progresses, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Scott’s wellbeing and safety. He is a young teenage boy and understandably his family and friends are very distressed at his disappearance.

“We’ve been carrying out a significant number of enquiries in and around the local area of Clydebank and other areas including Glasgow city centre, and whilst we’ve had some possible sightings reported to us they have so far have proved negative. I’d like to again appeal for help from the public – please continue to share our posts on social media and please contact us if you know where Scott is.”
