LISTEN: Claims £2.7B partnership at Glasgow City Council will save jobs

The Wheatley Group is taking on a 50% shareholding in the council owned City Building Glasgow which maintains housing in the city

Clyde News can exclusively reveal Glasgow City Council and the country's biggest social landlord are joining forces with claims it will secure 2,000 jobs.

The Wheatley Group, a parent company of Glasgow Housing Association, is taking on a 50% shareholding of City Building Glasgow.

The leader at the local authority Councillor Frank McAveety spoke to Clyde News' Chief Reporter Linda Sinclair about the deal.
