Campaigners fighting against the closure of the inpatient ward at the homeopathic hospital in Glasgow are urging people to have their say with a week to go until a consultation closes.

As part of NHS cuts in Glasgow and the west, part of the Centre of Integrative Care, is facing the axe.

Campaigner Catherine Hughes, speaking to our Reporter Shiona McCallum, is hitting out:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde say the full decision will be made by the end of the year and it will reflect the fact that the majority of patients are now local.

The consultation is also looking at the future of a childrens ward in Paisley, local maternity units and Lightburn Hospital.
