A teenager from Barra who was seriously injured in the Manchester Arena terror attack has gone back to school.
15 year old Laura MacIntyre spent months in Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and received treatment in Glasgow after the attack.
She and her friend Eilidh MacLeod, both from the remote island in the Outer Hebrides, were reported missing after they couldn't get in touch with family following the blast.
It was later confirmed Eilidh, 14, was among the 22 people who died while Laura was found in hospital.
Laura fought to recover from serious hand and leg injuries after being involved in the attack at the Ariana Grande concert in May, but has now returned to studying at Castlebay Community School.
A Western Isles Council spokesman said: "Everybody is very pleased that Laura is going back to school and making progress."
