A blaze at a business in Tollcross is being treated as deliberate

Crews were called to the east of the city and emergency services cordoned off the area while firefighters tried to tackle the fire.

A spokeswoman for the fire service said: The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 8.15pm to reports of a building fire on Tollcross Road, Glasgow.

Operation control mobilised four fire engines and one aerial appliance to the scene, where crews are currently tackling a well-developed fire within a two-storey business premises.''

A Police spokeswoman said: "At 8.15pm, emergency services attended a fire at a commercial building.

"It is being treated as wilful and a joint investigation is under way with the police and fire service.

"No one was injured and road diversions are in place.
