A Lanarkshire man is to stand trial charged with raping a woman in a park.
John McMahon today faced the allegation during a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
The 25 year-old is accused of attacking the woman in a car at the city's Queen's Park in March last year.
Prosecutors claim he initially had consensual sex with her before it is alleged he did so without her agreement.
A second charge states he did assault and rob the woman – including accusations he did search her pockets and take £20.
McMahon, of Motherwell, today denied the allegations.
Judge Lady Rae set a trial due to start in July.
