Kiltwalk Organisers Looking For Volunteer 'Kilties'

Published 23rd Jan 2015

Organisers are calling on you to sign up as a Kiltie for this spring's Kiltwalk in Glasgow which helps raise vital funds for charities including Cash for Kids. The volunteers will do jobs like marshalling, entertainment and registration for the charity walk on the 12th of April. A Kiltwalk stretches for 26 miles and includes entertainment filled Pitstops and venues with a party atmosphere. Organisers want every walker to be greeted by a Kiltie smile at every point along the route. And it's hoped the support, encouragement, knowledge and motivation Kilties will provide will make the sore feet of walkers a distant memory. 2,000 people are needed with every Kiltie given full training and support within their role to ensure they have an enjoyable experience, feel part of an amazing team and deliver an outstanding series of Kiltwalk events across Scotland for many years to come.
