Man taken to hospital after murder bid in Kilmarnock

A man is in hospital after an attempted murder in Kilmarnock on Sunday night.
The 39-year-old's condition is not known after the incident on Macphail Drive around 8pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended at Macphail Drive in Kilmarnock at around 8.10pm on Sunday, 18 September, 2022 following the attempted murder of a 39-year-old man.
"The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.”
