Former North Lanarkshire Council leader charged over sex offences

The former leader of North Lanarkshire Council has been charged over multiple alleged sex offences.
It's being reported the SNP's Jordan Linden was arrested and released earlier this week.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of non-recent sexual offences committed at various locations in Scotland.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
