Glasgow comedian Janey Godley confirms she is receiving end-of-life care
She posted a heartbreaking video on social media
Glasgow comedian, Janey Godley, has confirmed she is receiving end of life care for her terminal ovarian cancer.
The 63-year-old confirmed on X that she was receiving palliative care, and would be going into a hospice for the foreseeable future.
The star recently cancelled her tour after doctors advised that she stop working to focus on her health.
In a video, Janey said: “It is devastating news, to know that I’m facing end of life but we all come to an end some time.
“I don’t know how long I’ve got left before anybody asks, I’m not a tick tock, I just want you all to know that I appreciate all the love you’ve given me.
“Cancer affects one in two people and it’s affected me.”
