Jacqueline Grant: Man appears in court

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a woman in her home in Maryhill last week.

Jacqueline Grant was found dead on Cumlodden Drive on Tuesday.

46-year-old Michael Dorey is accused of killing her and trying to pervert the course of justice.

He made no plea at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.

He will appear again next week.
